Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs has stated that Dr. Kwabena Duffuor has fallen into the trap by some personalities he believes are black horses in the party.
According to him, the injunction order filed by Dr. Duffuor, a flagbearer aspirant of the party was the exact thing these black horses in the party wanted him to do.
Speaking in an interview on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo morning show monitored by 1Family Radio, Allotey stated that Dr. Duffuor is finished as far as the NDC is concerned. He sang a song in Ga which depicts that Duffuor is finished in the NDC therefore the best for him to do now is to withdraw from the competition.
“He has fallen into the trap perfectly, he is finished. There are certain personalities that have contested in elections since Prof. Mills time yet they have no honor in the party. I must be frank with you and some of these people, we brought them into the party,’’ Allotey noted.
“The trap was set to finish him completely and It started from his son. The strategy and the propaganda, it is about nothing but that being pushed to go to court just to let the grassroot know that he is an enemy of the party and he did just that. So, he is done; that’s all,’’ he said.
