A statement made about a bag of cement by former president and a flagbearer hopeful of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama has sparked so many reactions from Ghanaians.
Speaking to some delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Kpandai in the Northern Region, John Dramani Mahama alleged that the bag of one cement is now GH¢ 800.
“Things have become so expensive in the country. Today, a bag of cement is GH¢800. If you are a farmer, one bag of cement is GH¢800,’’ Mahama said.
A video of the campaign has gone viral on social media with a lot of Ghanaians reacting to it. Some netizens have lambasted him for deceiving people just because he wants to win power.
According to user Emmanuel Boadu, there is no difference between Mahama and Joe Biden because they are both confused.
“John Mahama and Joe Biden no difference, two confused and incompetent leaders. Mahama ein own be serious, anaa he was drunk. Do farmers use cement?’’ he quizzed.
Another user tweeted; “when the propaganda isn’t working then frustrations set in. John Mahama King Nasir Akufo Addo.
“NDC’s John Mahama is confused. Where in Ghana do we sell cement for GH¢800. Lies, deceit and propaganda. Confused loosing candidate,’’ another netizen wrote.
