Former Black Stars midfielder and Hearts of Oak has expressed disappointment in the performance of the Phobians in their match against Tamale City.
On Wednesday, 27th April, 2023, the Accra Hearts of Oak were defeated by the Tamale City by a 4 goal to one in the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League matchday 28.
According to Charles, the defeat of the team is due to the poor performance of some players and these players must be demoted.
Speaking in an interview on Angel TV monitored by 1Family Radio, the former player indicated that some players are not qualified to be part of Hearts of Oak or the Asante Kotoko.
He added that some players are so terrible when it comes to playing football and he doesn’t even understand why they are playing for Phobia.
“The players of Hearts of Oak performed so terribly. Some of them don’t even deserve to play for Phobia or the Asante Kotoko,’’ he said.
He continued that you don’t need to be a professional player before you can see that some players in the team have no control over the ball.
“If you closely watch Hearts of Oak and Kotoko games, you can see that some players are not fit to be in the team. They can’t even control or pass a ball. They can’t also blame their poor performance on the pitch because we have played on worst pitches than this,’’ Taylor added.
He reiterated that he can boldly name sixteen players that should be demoted because they so terrible.
“I am telling that I can mention sixteen players of Hearts of Oak who should be demoted. They are just not good enough to be part of the team,’’ Charles noted.
