Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom, a Ghanaian female rapper and songwriter professionally known as Eno Barony has disclosed that she once had a dream of becoming a journalist.

According to the rapper, growing up as a child in Ashaiman, she looked up to journalists like Roland Walker and she was inspired to become one when she grows while adding that she has a thing for hosting programs and story telling.

Speaking in an interview on TV3 monitored by 1Family Radio, she noted that she was swayed into the music industry because of the complement people gave about her voice whenever she sung in church and school.

“Primitively, my dream as a child was to become a journalist but growing up, whenever I rap in school or even sing at church, the people around are like wow, you gave me goosebumps, you are such a gifted child so I ended up doing music instead of journalism,’’ she noted.

She furthered that notwithstanding the fact that music has always been part of her, she never thought of doing it as a career.

Eno stated, “i was born with music and it has always been part of my life but not for once did I think I would become a musician.’’

“Of course, I mean I hosted a program on Adom FM for a year and I also did the Kasahari program on Adom,’’ she disclosed when asked if she plans on pursuing her original dream career.
