Ernest Norgbey, the Member of Parliament for Ashaiman has indicated that he knows the camp of the military men who brutalized some of the civilians in his constituency.

Earlier this morning the lawmaker reported that some military men stormed Ashaiman on the dawn of Tuesday, March7, 2023 and brutalized some of the civilian they came across after interrogating them.

Speaking in an interview with Jonnie Hughes on 3FM monitored by 1Family Radio, Mr. Norgbey stated that for the past five years, they have not heard anything of this sort in the community however, they are not delighted about the fact that a soldier was murdered in the vicinity.

He disclosed that the military men that stormed the neighborhood are from the Michel Camp. The lawmaker furthered that he has attempted to get in touch with the head of the camp but then his line is not reachable.

According to him, the anger of the military men is justified because their colleague has been killed but brutalizing the people will not solve the problem.

“They can be peeved because one of their own is gone but brutalizing the people is not the solution to the problem,” he noted.
