Olusegan Obasanjo, the former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has appealed to the chairman of the INEC to organize new elections on March 4,2023.

Speaking to the press on February 27, 2023 which was monitored by 1Family Radio, the former president alleged that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) by the Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been manipulated by some officials of the INEC.

According to him, the manipulation of the BVAS has stirred some doubts about the reults of the election. He therefore urged the INEC to nullify the results of this current elections and coordinate a new one on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Former President Olusegan believes that since the chairman of the INEC was able to reschedule the elections four days to the elections, then he should rectify the lapse in the elections to save Nigeria from the emerging danger and catastrophe.

Olusegan also called on the incumbent president, Buhari Muhammadu to fulfil his promise to leave a legacy of free, fair transparent and credible election.
