Richard Ahiagbah, the Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party has disclosed that they are not shaken by Former President John Mahama decision to contest for the president in the 2024 elections.
Speaking to the press on February 23, 2023, Richard indicated that Mahama has no chance of winning the 2024 presidential elections. According to him, Mahama has no solutions to the current economic crisis in the country.
He indicated that they are certain that Mahama will not win the elections because he has no better record during his tenure as president.
“We have beaten him twice, so you can conclude for yourself if we should be afraid of him,” he noted. According to him, this is basic mathematics, Mahama has been defeated twice so there’s no need to be scared of him contesting again.
Richard furthered that the former president is even scared to announce to the general public his intentions to contest again. “We are ready for him.” He stated.
According to Richard, the NPP is putting measures in place to improve the economic mess of the country adding that Mahama cannot save the economy as he claims.
