John Dumelo, an actor turned politician has received a donation of GH¢ 1,850 from 23 female tertiary students to aid in his political campaign for his second bid to parliament.
The actor is contesting for the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat for the second time in the upcoming primaries elections of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
These 23 female students are from the University of Ghana, Knutsford University and the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
John Dumelo expressed his gratitude towards these students in a post he shared on his Facebook page sighted by 1Family Radio.
He noted, ‘’I was humbled to receive the leader of 23 ladies who contributed a total of GH¢1,850 towards my campaign. The ladies who are students from Legon, Knustford University and UPSA.’’
“I am truly grateful. Together let’s make Ayawaso West great again,’’ he noted
