Former President John Dramani Mahama has promised to give the women organizers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) contracts under the School Feeding Program in his next government.
According to him, the women organizers of the party are very good when it comes to cooking therefore when they are given the contracts, they will cook good foods for the school children to enjoy.
Speaking to some party delegates in Nanton monitored by 1Family Radio, the politician also promised the youth an easy entry into the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Armed Forces and the Fire Service.
“Any branch that gets the targeted votes will be rewarded. All the nine-member executives of the branch will receive a handsome reward for their hardwork,’’ he said.
He continued; “we will ensure that you get your fair share of everything we will do for Ghanaians. If people are being recruited into the Armed Forces, Fire Service, Police, Immigration and the Prison Service, our young people too will be recruited.’’
The former president also promised the women organizers of the party that they will be employed unto the School Feeding Program in order for them to make money for themselves.
“Our women organizers know how to cook very well therefore they will be hired as caterers for the school feeding program. They will cook for the primary school children,’’ he said.
“You will all have your fair share of everything that we will be doing for Ghanaians,’’ Mahama added.
