Chris Hughton, the current head coach of the Black Stars has stated that the team is made up of talents that when nurtured can help Ghana win a world cup.
The coach who served as the Technical Advisor for the Black Stars during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar noted that the current players of the team are very skilled and all they need is a little nurturing.
Speaking in an interview with SuperSports monitored by 1Family Radio, the coach noted that the only way he can get the results he is expecting is to believe and support the players.
“Getting the results we need will largely depend on the faith we have in the players. I believe I have a talented group of players and a skilled squad,’’ he said.
He furthered that having a talented squad is not enough because one has to know the right players to select for each match to get the result needed.
“Getting the right dynamics in the team and also selecting the right team to get the needed results is very important,’’ he stated.
According to Chris Hughton, team work, positivity and the desire to win are very important in winning a match.
He added, “if you want to win a match, then you must rely on good team spirits, good team work and harmony and the desire of the whole team to win a football match.’’
