Controversial Ghanaian socialite, Afia Schwarzenegger has disclosed that Rev. Joshua Laryea, a former pastor of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) didn’t assault Mzbel as alleged in 2017.
In 2017, Rev. Laryea was suspended and withdrawn from the pulpit after Mzbel and Afia Schwarzenegger stormed social media with allegations that the Man of God had assaulted Mzbel who was then a member of the church.
However, after the two friends fell apart, Afia Schwarzenegger had indicated that Mzbel was never raped by the Man of God adding that she has regretted helping Mxbel to scheme against Rev. Laryea.
According to Afia, she has pleaded for forgiveness from God and she is ready to testify against Mxbel in court should the need arise.
“Mxbel is a liar, Joshua never raped her and I am ready to testify against Mxbel if Joshua takes the case to court,” she stated in a TikTok live video sighted by 1Family Radio.
She continued, “Mzbel joined the church after all her lovers dejected her to find solace but she was shunned by the members who were scared of her lifestyle.’’
Afia stated that Joshua became her godfather after she started attending the church but the man never raped her.
“After one year of joining the church, Mzbel accused Josh Laryea of rape but the truth is, he never raped her,” she revealed.
She continued, “I am sure Joshua is looking for vindication and the vindication is today. Joshua’s name is cleared now.”
