Ghanaian media personality Afia Pokua, professionally known as Vim Lady, has taken on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for failing to provide alternative solutions to the country’s problems.
According to her, everybody knows that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has blatantly deceived the country, but the NDC shouldn’t use the failure of the NPP as their campaign message.
Speaking on her show on Okay FM, monitored by 1Family Radio, the media personality advised the NDC to correct the inaccuracies in their album ahead of the 2024 general elections.
“There was an issue with the NDC’s album. This is the right time for them to correct their album. This is not an insult; therefore, any party member who is planning on sending a foot soldier to insult us should stop because it is the wrong strategy. Do your homework very well if you don’t want to end up like Peter Obi,’’ he said.
“Change your strategy and do your homework well. It is not enough to come and tell us that the NPP has lied to us.’’
“Yes, they have lied to us, and so what? What do you have to offer? What message are you sending across? What solution do you have?’’ she quizzed.
“What alternative solutions do you have for us? Don’t just tell us that the NPP has deceived us. Even a child in class can tell that the NPP has lied to us,’’ she stated.
“What we need now are solutions, not insults. What message does the NDC have for Ghanaians? Tell us something different,’’ Vim Lady urged.
