A visually impaired man, Mr. Amudor has reportedly murdered his wife, Grace Alifo by slashing her neck in Abepotia, a suburb of Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region.

Mr. Amudor is believed to be in his 70s and lost his vision six years ago after complaining of sight challenges. His deceased wife is in her 60s.

According to sources, the deceased woman for some time now has been threatening to divorce her husband after he lost his sight. It was also reported that the suspect had also alleged that his wife has been receiving calls at ungodly hours of the night.

A report by Agoo FM monitored by 1Family Radio indicated that Grace was found in a pool of her own blood after an argument with her husband in the early hours of March 14, 2023. According to sources, the man accused his wife of not locking their door, exposing them to the attacks of thieves.

As their argument got heated up, the blind man allegedly took a machete and slashed the neck of his wife leaving her dead.

The question on the minds of some residents is how a visually challenged man was able to slash his wife’s neck after so many years of marriage.

Mr. Amudor is currently in the custody of the police meanwhile the body of the wife has been deposited at the Holy Family Hospital Morgue.
