Mark Ewusi Arkoh, the Youth Organizer for the People’s National Convention (PNC) has commended the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum for introducing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Ghana.

A statement release sighted by 1Family Radio indicated that STEM education is the best way to help Ghana develop in this 21st century.

According to the statement, Ghana’s development in this century will depend on scientific progress through education reforms and advanced technologies.

It was noted that the 21st century which is the fourth Industrial Revolution will enhance productivity and economic development and solidarity if given the needed attention and reforms.

“This generation is expected to perform tasks in a manner that needs less or no human interaction,” the statement noted. It furthered that because of this, the government must support the STEM education initiated by the Minister of Education, Hon. Osei Yaw Adutwum by providing the required resources to improve this initiative in Ghana.

The youth organizer called on all stakeholders, especially parents to come on board to help improve STEM education in Ghana.
