A member of the NDC National Communication team, Peter Akwasi Mensah has hinted that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the most fraudulent party in Ghana.
According to him, the Akuffo-Addo’s government made many promises to Ghanaians but they have not kept even one of these promises.
Speaking in an interview on TV XYZ monitored by 1family Radio, Peter noted that the government has rather made life unbearable for the ordinary Ghanaian contrary to the promises they made during their campaigns.
He indicated that the Ken Ofori-Atta, the finance Minister declared that Ghana’s economy is progressing and there would be no need for external assistance, today the country is seeking for bailout from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The president also promised a ‘Ghana Beyond Aid’ but they have turned to the IMF for help.
Peter uttered that teachers and students are crying because the government for over a year now has not paid some teachers. He furthered that before the current economic crisis, some economic analysists advised the finance minister to seek for help from the IMF but he refused due to pride and arrogance.
The NDC member furthered that Ken Ofori-Atta in February 2022, assured the people in Tamale that the country doesn’t need any help from the IMF because we have been blessed with enough resources. However, he is telling us today that the solidarity of our economy depends on the IMF.
