Elorm Beenie, an artiste manager has indicated that in choosing an artiste, in looks out for the talent of the artiste and not his money.
Speaking in an interview on 3FM Drive monitored by 1Family Radio, the artiste manager stated that for an artiste to reach the peak, he must have the talent, zeal and the passion for music.
According to him, the artiste must be ready to put aside most of the things he knows and avail himself to be taught new things. He added that the first thing he looks out for in an artiste is his talent and passion for music and also his willingness to learn new things in the industry.
He opined that money is not the first thing on his list but an artiste with a talent and zeal. Elorm added that some artistes have the money but they don’t have the talent and they don’t produce good content.
The artiste manager furthered that he will not choose money over talent because money is useless without the talent of the artiste. H added that he has a standard to keep therefore he will always choose an artiste with talent. Elorm stated that aside from money he has to produce good and talented artiste.
Elorm believes that if artiste managers should put talent and passion above money and budget, most of their artistes will not produce trash instead of tracks.
