Flowking Stone on why he didn’t locate to Accra to pursue his music career

You can make it in Kumasi too as a musician

Kwaku Nsia Boama, Ghanaian sensational hip-life rapper better known as Flowking Stone has opened up on why he didn’t move to the capital city of the country to pursue his music career.

According to him, you can make music in any part of the country and not only in Accra before you can be popular.

Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty monitored by 1Family Radio, the ‘Go Low’ hitmaker stated that he decided to do his music in Kumasi in order to let the young artists in the region understand that, they can enjoy the limelight it in Kumasi too and not only in Accra.

“Since I began my music career, I have always been in Kumasi. I was expected to locate to Accra to contend with other big rappers but I decided to stay in Kumasi to inspire the young artists that they can make it Kumasi,’’ he stated.

He furthered that he wants to change the notion that any artist must move to Accra before their music can be accepted.

Citing artistes like Yaw Tog, Amerado and Asaaka, Flowking Stone stated that these people are popular and Ghanaians have accepted their music despite being in Kumasi.
