Dr. Amakye Boateng, a political science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has advised Kennedy Agyapong, an NPP flagbearer hopeful to forget about his presidential ambitions.

The lecturer noted that per our Ghanaian values and moral standards, Kennedy doesn’t qualify to become a president. He added that the lawmaker lacks the required presidential skills.

Speaking in an interview on Akoma FM monitored by 1Family Radio, the lecturer noted that Kennedy should give up on his presidential ambitions. “Kennedy should let go of his presidential ambitions because he is not fit to be a president,’’ he stated.

Explaining why the Assin Central lawmaker doesn’t qualify to be a president, Dr. Amakye asserted that the MP had all his children educated overseas and this disqualifies him from being a president of this country.

“Kennedy doesn’t meet the moral standards to lead a nation because he is reported to have disrespected women and expressed vulgar statements about people including members of his own government,” he hinted.

Dr. Amakye believes that by virtue of these reasons, Kennedy should forget becoming ever becoming the president of this country. “That man is not serious. He should forget about his presidential ambitions,’’ he added.
