The Asante Kotoko, popularly known as the Porcupines have officially announced the signing of Mohammed Alhassan, the former defender of Hearts of Oak.
This comes on after the Accra Hearts of Oak declared that they have ended their contract with the defender December,2022. The Porcupines officially unveiled him as the club’s new player on February 9, 2023.
The Asante Kotoko in a press release stated that Alhassan has won everything domestically and they therefore anticipate that he will add his experience to the club in their quest to realize their targets this season and beyond.
Some supporters of the team have expressed their joy as they welcome Alhassan as the new player of the team. “Direct switch from Hearts of Oak Asante Kotoko, defender Mohammed is a porcupine” one tweet reads.
Others stated that he is welcomed to “soccer mu university in Ghana’’. The fans believe that Mohammed Alhassan is an additional gem to the team.
