Nana Kwame Mensah-Bonsu, the Otumfuo Ahenenananomhene, has predicted that former President John Dramani Mahama will emerge as the winner of the 2024 general elections.
He asserts that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will still lose the elections regardless of who it sends to the polls as its candidate.
In a viral video shared by journalist KB Nkansah and spotted by 1Family Radio, the sub-chief noted that the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, is the only one with the knowledge and expertise to manage the economy.
He claimed that Mahama had already won, so even if the NPP party chose Jesus Christ as their presidential candidate, they would lose the election.
“I know that Mahama has won the elections. Even if the NPP brought Jesus Christ, they would lose the election. I am telling you the truth,’’ he said.
“Because things have gone bad and they are getting worse. A good thing speaks for itself,’’ Otumfuo Ahenenananomhene stated.
He asserted that Mahama must select a running mate from the Ashanti Region if he wants to win the elections.
“If God willing, that former president is going to choose a new vice president, I suggest that he pick someone from the Ashanti Region.’’
“If he is going to choose from the Ashanti Region, I recommend my own brother, Oppong Akwasi Fosu,’’ he asserted.
