Nacee, a veteran Ghanaian gospel artist, has alleged that his newly released single, ‘Aseda, is the biggest song in Ghana right now.
Aseda, a song that was released in April of 2023, is currently one of the most popular songs in the nation, with over five million streams across all music platforms.
In Nacee’s opinion, the media’s substantial role in publicizing his music is what allowed him to accomplish this feat.
Speaking in an interview on Property FM, monitored by 1Family Radio, the ‘Efata Wo’ singer said he is overwhelmed by the love and support Ghanaians have shown him.
“The reception I’m getting for Aseda is great because it’s not everyone who can release a song that within this short space of time gets this massive response.’’
“The media has jumped behind and is playing the song, and one of my happy moments is the acceptance of Ghanaians for Aseda,’’ he said.
“The media in general has held onto the song and played it consistently so that everybody will hear the message in the song; it’s so amazing, and the feeling is just too good,’’ he added.
“The response I’m getting for Aseda is incredible because not everyone can release a song that quickly generates such a huge amount of interest.’’
He remarked, “One of my joyful moments is the acceptance of Aseda by Ghanaians. The media has jumped on board and is playing the song.
“The media has kept the song and played it frequently so that everyone will hear the message in the song; it’s so amazing, and the feeling is just too good,” he said. ’’
