Seasoned Ghanaian vocalist and songwriter Pat Thomas has hailed Uncle Ebo Taylor for the crucial role he played in his music career.

According to the ‘Sika ye Mogya’ crooner, Uncle Ebo Taylor gave him the inspiration to begin creating his own songs and learning how to play the guitar.

Making an appearance on the 3FM Drive, monitored by 1Family Radio, the veteran singer noted that he has really learned a lot from Uncle Ebo Taylor.

“Uncle Ebo is my boss. He taught me so many things. He helped me get better at guitar,’’ Pat Thomas noted.

‘’He gave me encouragement to create music. composing my own music. In our time together, he would create the sound and instruct me to sing whatever I wanted. Occasionally, he would give me a title and ask me to compose it.

The seasoned musician also emphasized the value of respect and commitment in the music industry, stating that young musicians of this generation must learn how to respect others.

“Respect is the first thing they need to learn and understand. The most fundamental value is respect, which you should always uphold. Respect should always come first in all you do, whether you’re young or elderly.’’

“Also, whatever you are learning, learn it properly and make sure that you are getting it the way you want,” he advised.
