The general public has been informed by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) of its plan to participate in Operation Zero from July 11, 2023, until September 11, 2023.
The company claims that this is a nationwide revenue mobilization effort to reclaim every last penny of its clients’ unpaid debts.
Staff of the ECG will be deployed to the premises of customers to demand payment of outstanding bills during this two-month exercise.
In a statement by the power distributing company that was sighted by 1Family Radio, it was indicated that Operation Zero’ will be assisted by security agencies that will apprehend and prosecute customers who attempt to interfere with the exercise.
