The NDC is still united as a family

According to former President John Dramani Mahama, he would have prevailed in the NDC’s presidential primaries even if Dr. Duffuor hadn’t withdrew from the race.

He claims that, notwithstanding Dr. Duffuor’s lawsuit against the NDC, there is no division inside the party and that everyone is welcome to collaborate with them for the sake of the party.

After casting his ballot, Mahama spoke with a few media outlets and said that Dr. Duffuor’s choice to skip the primary polls doesn’t change anything because it won’t have an impact on the outcome of the election.

“Dr. Duffuor’s last-minute withdrawal makes no difference; I have completed casting my vote, other delegates will participate, and the outcome will remain the same. The results will be a landslide, as I had anticipated,’’ he told the media monitored by 1Family Radio.

“The party is still united; there is no indication of division. Although one candidate expressed dissatisfaction with the election process, this does not indicate that the party is divided.

“NDC is still a family, and all of them are a part of this big family. I don’t think there is any problem, and the party will make overtures,” Mahama continued. “As long as they are willing to come together and let us work toward 2024, I don’t think there is any problem.”
