Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has stated that the Finance Minister is a liar because he does the exact opposite of what he says.
According to him, the current state of the economy is far beyond broke and it is impossible for us to get bailed.
“Currently, Ghana is not even qualified to be called a broke country but a bankrupt one. We do not qualify to be borrowed money,’’ he stated in an interview on Metro TV monitored by 1Family Radio.
He noted that there is a thin line between being broke and bankrupt but currently, we as a country are bankrupt and not broke.
“A bankrupt country cannot be bailed and this is where the manager of our economy has led us to. And the sad thing is that he thinks managing the economy is all about wearing white and quoting the bible,’’ Sam said.
The politician admonished Ghanaians not to believe any word Ken Ofori-Atta says because he would eventually do the opposite of what he says.
“Whatever the Finance Minister promises, he means the opposite of it. He promised Ghanaians that there will not be any haircut or IMF.”
“As you can see, we are not only at the IMF but we vigorously begging China, the Paris Club and every creditor. This is how messed up Ghana is,’’ he stated.
