Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, an entertainment journalist and pundit has lashed out on Elikem for criticizing Sarkodie’s clothes indiscretely.
Elikem Kumordzie, a Ghanaian fashion designer posted a picture of Sarkodie’s outfit and highlighted some parts he thinks were faultily sewed based on the taste of the artiste.
During a phone-in session on UTV’s United Showbiz, Elikem stated that he had to criticize Sarkodie’s outfit publicly because of the allegations that the artiste doesn’t respond to messages and features.
He also added that he this is not the first time he has shared a post like this but because of Sarkodie’s fame, people are making a big deal out of this.
Reacting to this, Arnold who was a guest on the show asked the rational behind Elikem’s action. According to him, Elikem wants to be Sarkodie’s tailor and yet he is criticizing his outfits. He added that Sarkodie will never patronize Elikem if he keeps on condemning his clothes publicly.
Arnold furthered that there’s no sense in what the tailor did because you can’t condemn someone and expect that same person to patronize you.
“Big celebrities always have wardrobe malfunction,” Arnold noted. He believes that everybody makes mistake including celebrities therefore, Elikem shouldn’t have ridiculed Sarkodie the way he did.
He indicated that if the tailor is really good as he claims, he should have contacted the person who sewed the outfit and probably advised him on what to do.
