Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for the Assin Central and also a flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has stated that although he wants peace to reign in the party, he won’t allow anyone to cow him into submission.
According to the politician, he won’t allow any of his contenders to intimidate him with their wealth and properties because he has more than enough.
“Whoever thinks he is a man and wants to intimidate me with his money should wait and see how I will demonstrate to him that I am also a wealthy man when the right time comes.
“I will put on a show in this constituency and I will display money here,’’ he stated during his campaign in the Awutu Senya East Constituency monitored by 1Family Radio.
The politician empathetically stated that he will not kowtow to threats by any of his contenders during the primaries.
“Everybody should exercise patience. In order for us to win the elections, peace must reign but that doesn’t mean we should allow someone to scare us. Nobody can intimidate us when it comes to the elections.’’
“You have a mind of your own therefore don’t allow anyone to cow you into submission during the elections. Vote for whomever you wish to vote for,’’ Kennedy said.
