‘Touch It’ hitmaker, Kidi has finally refuted the claims by some section of Ghanaians that he has been bedridden with stroke.
He announced his comeback into the music industry in a statement he posted on his Instagram page. According to him, all the stories that spread about his health are false.
The musician somewhere in February postponed his Golden Boy North American Tour due to some health issues. However, some people purported that he has suffered a stroke.
In his Instagram post sighted by 1Family Radio on the 14th of April, 2023, the reigning VGMA artiste of the Year has debunked all these rumors.
“A little under two months ago, I made the painful decision of cancelling my tour to take care of my health that included taking time off social media.”
He expressed his gratitude towards his family and fans who showered him with love during this difficult period.
“I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from family, friends, fans and the brands I work with. You all made me feel incredibly loved in this difficult period and I can’t appreciate you enough,’’ he said.
Kidi empathetically stated that he all the rumors speculated about his health are only fabrications by some bad actors as he calls them.
“Unfortunately, a few bad actors took this as an opportunity to spread false stories that got a lot of you concerned. While I do not want to give it any attention, I want to categorically address that those stories were false.
The musician furthered that he is however happy to come back into the music industry to do what he loves the most while appreciating his fans for their support.
“I am glad to be back to doing what I love most; creating music and performing for you. Thanks for sticking it out with me,’’ Kidi noted.
