Some of the agitated caterers of the school feeding program have disclosed all the caterers on the program are members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to them, since the employment is based on politics, the tendency of them losing their jobs if the opposition party comes into power is very high.
Speaking in an interview on Citi TV monitored by 1Family Radio, Dorothy Ofori-Sarpong, a caterer on the school feeding program stated that although they have made a lot of sacrifices for the party, the government has refused to settle their arrears.
She furthered that before you can be a caterer on the program, you must be a member of the New Patriotic Party.
“It is very obvious that we will lose our jobs if the opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) is voted into power in the 2024 general election.
“We are all members of the NPP,’’ she hinted. For this reason, they are pleading with the government to pay them the money he owes them.
She furthered that they are out of funds because of the high cost of feeding in the country.
