Controversial Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Kwame Asare Obeng alias A-Plus has made mockery of the podium mounted for the US Vice President, Kamala Harris to deliver her speech on Sunday, March 26,2023.
The podium mounted for Kamala has been severely criticized by some Ghanaian celebrities who described the podium as an ‘akwaaba tissue box’.
A-Plus has also shared his two cents about the stage mounted for Kamala Harris. According to him, the podium built is almost like a caricature.
In a post he shared on his Instagram page sighted by 1Family Radio, the hiplife artiste stated, “You watch the champions league final or the World Cup in Qatar, and within a matter of minutes, a beautiful podium is built for presentation.”
He furthered, “you watch the Super Bowl halftime show, and within the twinkle of an eye, the whole playing field is turned into a gorgeous stage for a musical concert.’’
“Here in Umofia, this is what the Atta ne Atta were able to build in 73 hours; the most annoying part is that this caricature will be more expensive than any of the aforementioned,’’ he mocked.
“Dear International Monetary Fund, before you give them the loan, ask them how much they spent to build this Susubribi Village Square, and you’ll know what your money will be used for,’’ A-Plus stated.
