A flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has indicated that presidency goes far beyond big grammar.
According to the Assin Central lawmaker, the delegates of the party doesn’t really care about the good grammar and educational background of a candidate when it comes to electing a flagbearer.
In a viral video sighted by 1Family Radio, the lawmaker disclosed that he is not frightened by people who speak good and big English with intimidating educational degrees.
He noted “it is not about being bookish and speaking big English in fact how many rich people do you see speaking big grammar.’’ The vociferous lawmaker added that Bill Gates is one of the richest men in the world but he doesn’t have any frightening educational certificate.
The lawmaker added that education is important but then you shouldn’t get too exited about your certificates and educational titles.
“When you become too proud that you are educated and you can speak big grammar, you might end up working for me,’’ he stated.
Kennedy mentioned that he is not intimidated by the big grammar people speak because he is blessed. “I accept that I come from the village, I work hard and God has blessed me so your big grammar wouldn’t scare me,’’ he added.
According to him, he will use his Assin Donpem L/A Middle School certificate to dismiss the Ph.D. of his competitors because he is factual and intelligent.
