Sister Afia, a Ghanaian musician has disclosed that she wants John Dumelo to become the president of Ghana.
According to her, John Dumelo is an industry person and he would bring the change Ghana badly needs should he become the president of Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Accra FM monitored by 1Family Radio, Afia clarified that her support for Dumelo doesn’t mean she is supporting any political party in Ghana. She furthered that she would have made John Dumelo the president if she has the power because he is an industry player and he has the aptitude to bring change in the country.
She also praised him for his attempt to create awareness about planting food locally. “What strikes me about John is his effort to create awareness for Ghanaians to grow their own food locally,” she noted.
The ‘Jeje’ hitmaker refuted the claims that young politicians have the tendency to live extravagance lives than the older generation. She mentioned that these older politicians have been ruling for a while now but we are not seeing any change. According to her, it is time we changed our leadership to bring in young people.
“I just want to see a change and John Dumelo is the one who can bring this change,” she added.
