The Police administration has been equipped with some vehicles by President Akuffo-Addo on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
The president also commissioned some facelifts project at the National Police Headquarters.
His Excellency the President handed over to the Police Administration six hundred motorbikes, one hundred Toyota Hilux pickup vehicles and six armored personnel carriers.
The main headquarters gate, the CID gate, the ICT gate and the main CID block at the Police Headquarters will be renovated as part of the facelift projects.
After the event, the president in a tweet indicated that very soon, all the region across Ghana will from the services of this specialized unit. He furthered that these regional FPUs will be extended to all the 140 bases in various communities.
The president believes that with the help of these vehicles, security, law and order will be enhanced in the country.
