Sophia Akuffo, the former Chief Justice of Ghana has lambasted Gabby Otchere-Darko, a vibrant member of the NPP for his comment on her participation in the picketing by the pensioners at the ministry of finance.
Sophia Akuffo on February 10, 2023 joined the pensioners at the Ministry of Finance to protest against the inclusion of pensioners in the Domestic Debt Exchange Program.
According to Gabby Otchere, Sophia’s action was uncalled for because she has the right not to sign up to the DDEP.
Reacting to this comment by Gabby Otchere, the former Chief justice stated that she has no time for people like Gabby.
Speaking to some journalists on February,14,2023, Sophia indicated that Gabby is in no position to dictate to her what she has do and what not to do. According to her, Gabby has no significant position in the NPP party and he is no importance to her.
She added that people like Gabby are just disturbances to this nation therefore she doesn’t have time to waste on such people.
Sophia added that she is not in support of the DDEP because of the repercussions it will have on the country which can also affect generations unborn.
