Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, the secretary of the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral has secured a ten-day restraining order against Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu constituency.

The order seeks to restrain Ablakwa from disclosing any information on the Conflicts of Interest and Double Identity Scandal against Rev. Kusi Boateng.

In recent times, Ablakwa has revealed that an amount of GH¢ 2.6 million from the National Cathedral project was given to a company named JNS Talent Centre limited which allegedly belongs to Kwabena Adu Gyami.

Upon further inquiries, it was discovered that Kwabena Adu Gyamfi is the same as Rev. kusi. Based on this, Ablakwa accused Rev. Boateng of conflicts of interest and double identity.

Following a post shared by Ablakwa on February 3, 2023, the lawmaker stated that he received the order after an interview on Good morning Ghana, a program aired on Metro TV.

It was noted that Rev. Kusi has been able to secure a writ against Ablakwa restraining him from publicly announcing any property or personal documents possessed by Rev. Kusi.

The lawmaker is also restrained from talking about the conflicts of interest and the double identity issue. This order will be invalid after ten days. Ablakwa added that he will ensure that truth and justice will prevail.
