Sugarcane hitmaker, Camidoh has alleged that the government has disregarded the entertainment industry in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, which was monitored by 1Family Radio, the popular musician asserted that artistes in Ghana has to plead with the government to support the industry.
He stated that he believes that the government has ignored the entertainment industry and their attention is not on them. Because of this they have to educate the government on the importance of the entertainment industry.
Camidoh asserted that the attention the government gives to the National Cathedral, the government should also give them the same attention. He added that they also deserve to be part of the government’s priorities.
He also spoke about the VGMA seminar and said that during the seminar, someone raised the topic that people want to invest in the music industry therefore the artistes should be diligent.
