 The Ministry of Finance has announced that it has settled all outstanding coupons and principal payments owed to individual bondholders.

A statement issued by the ministry indicated that all the arrears the government owes the individual bondholders up until June 19, 2023, have been settled.

In the statement, which was sighted by 1Family Radio, it was noted, “The Ministry of Finance hereby announces that it has made good on its promise to settle all outstanding coupons and principal payments up until June 19, 2023.’’

 “Instructions have also been sent for payments of coupons falling due up until today, July 10, 2023,’’ parts of the statement read.
