The Minister of Communications and the lawmaker for Ablekuma West have called on their fellow women to contact the police if they are coerced into having oral or anal sex.
She asserts that both oral and anal sex are forbidden, regardless of whether it occurs between men or between men and women. Ursula continued, calling these kinds of sexual behavior unnatural carnal knowledge.
Ursula made this statement in parliament during the debate on the LGBTQ+ bill, which was monitored by 1Family Radio.
“For the avoidance of doubt and the information of all Ghanaians, oral sex and anal sex, regardless of whether it is between woman and man, man and man, or woman and woman, are illegal under our law.’’
“So if there is anybody who is practicing oral sex or anal sex, please note that what you are doing is against the existing law of this country,’’ she disclosed.
“And so I will urge any woman or young girl being subjected to any such practice under the guise of heterosexual sex to know that what they are being asked to do is against the law and must seek help from the police.’’
“Anal sex is unnatural carnal knowledge; the use of sex toys is unnatural carnal knowledge,’’ she added.
