This primary election is undoubtedly going to be won by John Mahama, Ghanaian actor now turned politician, John Dumelo stated.
He added that he would be very surprised if any delegates in the Ayawaso West Wuogon voted for Kojo Bonsu, saying it was crystal clear from the start that Mahama would run in the polls.
Dumelo stated plainly in an exclusive interview with TV3 that 1Family Radio monitored that it is a done deal for Mahama. Now that Dr. Duffuor has withdrew from the race, this is especially true.
“I mean, former president John Mahama has already won the elections’’. When asked how he saw the race between Kojo Bonsu and Mahama, he responded, “He is absolutely going to win the polls.
‘’We simply hope that he receives the proper percentage. We were all certain from the start that he would prevail. He has been visiting different parts of the nation to hear what the delegates have to say.’’
“We just have a feeling he’ll win. I am optimistic that Ayawaso West will support him totally today.
When asked whether his statement represented the delegates’ opinion or his own conviction, he responded, “This is my conviction and that’s what the delegates are saying. It’s John Mahama all the way, so we have nothing to fear. Even if one person votes against John Mahama today, I would be a bit disappointed in Ayawaso West.’’
