Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong, a Ghanaian SDA gospel artiste known by his stage name Great Ampong has asserted that God blesses everyone and not only prayerful Christians.
Speaking with Amasan Krakye in an exclusive interview monitored by 1Family Radio, the gospel singer indicated that there is no need to pray in tongues for long hours because that will not coerce God into blessing you.
According to him, the mentality of Christians that God will not bless you until you scream like a psychopath must be renewed. He believes that God will bless you if he wants to and your long prayers will do little in changing his mind about you.
“God blesses who he wants to bless and it’s not about your long prayers, all you have to do is simply to thank God when you wake up in the morning,” he noted.
Citing mothers as examples, he stated that no mother will on earth will wait until her hungry child shouts and screams before she will give the child food to eat and this also applies to God.
He furthered that some Christians and pastors have created the impression that God is a heartless God and He only gives Christians what they need after they shout and pray for long hours.
