Rojo Mettle-Nunoo, the former deputy Minister of Health during the John Atta Mills government and a member of the campaign team of Dr. Kwabena Duffour has declared that Duffour is the only person who can save Ghana from this economic mess.
Speaking in an interview on Eyewitness News monitored by 1Family Radio, the former minister indicated that Dr. Duffour is the best person to lead the NDC and Ghana as a president.
Mr. Mettle-Nunoo is of the view that Dr. Duffour is competent enough to solve the current challenges in Ghana and he can also protect the vulnerable in the society. He believes that the track record of Dr. Duffour gives him an advantage over his other contenders.
According to him, the late Rawlings made Duffour the Finance Minister because he trusted him and the Atta Mills government never borrowed money from IMF because of Duffour’s intellect.
“The best person to take Ghana out of this economic predicament is Dr. Duffour,” he noted. Mr. Nunoo indicated that Duffour is a principled man and he is the best person to lead the NDC and Ghana now.
He furthered that the grassroot of the NDC know Mr. Duffour’s capabilities and once they give him the chance, he will rescue the economy from this mess.
