The Ghana cedi is showing strong performance on the interbank market today, October 14, 2026.
According to Bank of Ghana interbank rates, the cedi has gained against all three major currencies – the US Dollar, British Pound, and Euro.
DOLLAR DROPS TO GH¢11.70
The US Dollar is now trading at GH¢11.70 buying and GH¢11.71 selling, down GH¢0.06 from yesterday’s rate. This represents a positive move for the local currency.
The Pound Sterling and Euro have also seen declines against the cedi, indicating broad strength.
BANK OF GHANA INTERBANK RATES TODAY:
– USD/GHS: GH¢11.70 Buying / GH¢11.71 Selling – Down 0.06
– GBP and EUR also down against cedi
This performance comes as the Bank of Ghana continues measures to stabilize the cedi.
