For those of you anticipating that DJ Azonto will change his style of dressing, there is a huge disappointment coming your way, as the artist has emphatically stated that he is not changing anytime soon.
According to the musician, he is intentional about what he is doing because he is a full-grown man with children.
Speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz monitored by 1Family Radio, the ‘Fa Ne Fom’ hitmaker noted that he will not stop wearing female clothes because it fetches him money.
“There is no cause for alarm since, as an adult who is a spouse and the father of three children, I am aware of the benefits and drawbacks of what I am doing and can tell what is right from wrong,” he hinted.
DJ Azonto expressed his optimism that his sense of style will enable him to travel and that he expects to soon be hired as an ambassador by a fashion brand.
Regarding how his family feels about his sense of style, he responded that they disapprove, but he can’t stop because it helps put food on the table.
“When I visited my mother on Mother’s Day, she told me the only thing she would want of me was to quit dressing like a woman. She also said that even if I don’t want to stop, I should stop carrying handbags and wearing heels.’’
“I responded that if she wants to enjoy life by being well catered for, then I have to keep working, and this is all part of it,’’ he said.
“I used to wear a brassiere, but I have stopped. The truth is that my entire family, including my wife, is not happy with the things I wear, but they want money, and this brings money,’’ DJ Azonto added.
