Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has reacted to the landslide victory of the NPP representative in the just ended Kumawu by-election.
Ernest Yaw Anim, the MP-elect for the Kumawu constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), was declared the winner of the by-election in the constituency, which was held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
In reaction to this, Dr. Bawumia has urged him to go and make the constituency and the NPP party proud in parliament.
The vice president took to Twitter to congratulate the new Member of Parliament for the Kumawu constituency.
“Congratulations to Ernest Yaw Anim and Kumawu for this victory,’’ the post sighted by 1Family Radio indicated.
“Anim, go and make Kumawu proud and leave an indelible mark in Parliament. Thank you, Kumawuman,’’ he added.
