April 7 and April 10 declared as public holidays by the Minister of Interior

These holidays should be observed throughout the country

Hon. Ambrosse Dery, the Minister of Interior has declared Friday, 7th and Monday 10th April as public holidays.

According to the statement issued by the Ministry, this is to mark the Easter celebrations.

The statement sighted by 1Family Radio indicated, “the general public is hereby informed that Friday, 7th April and Monday, 10th April, 2023 which mark the Good Friday and Easter Monday respectively, are statutory public holidays and should be observed as such throughout the country.’’

This statement was released on Tuesday, the 4th of April, 2023.
