The death of the first son of Yul Edochie, a Nigerian actor and the grandson of veteran actor, Pete Edochie will be investigated by the Lagos State Police Command.
Kambilichukwu, the teenage son of Yul Edichie who celebrated his 16th birthday in January, 2023, was reported dead on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
Although the cause of his death is yet to be discovered, the boy had a seizure during a football game with his friends but he gave up the spirit when he was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital.
News reaching us is that Yul Edochie has reported the case to the Lagos State Police Command.
Speaking in an interview with BBC monitored by 1Family Radio, Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the Lagos police disclosed that investigations are being carried out to unearth the cause of the boy’s death.
According to him, the case will be recorded into the criminal investigation department after which they will probe into the cause of the death.
Mr. Benjamin however stated that an autopsy must be carried out to know what actually happened because the police can’t really help until there is an autopsy.
