Kwasi Kyei Darwah, a Ghanaian broadcaster and a media personality has alleged that he was expelled from the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) based on instructions from the ruling government.

According to him, the NPP government is not open to criticisms and that was why he was expelled from GTV because he criticized the government. “I was told not to appear on GTV again,” he disclosed.

Speaking in an interview on Onua TV monitored by 1Family Radio, KKD noted that the incumbent government cheered people to criticize other governments when they were in opposition but after there voted into power, they are attacking their critics.

“When you needed people to criticize the government, you were preaching about integrity but now that we are speaking about your dishonesty ways, you have ordered GBC to ban me from appearing on GTV,’’ he noted.

He furthered that this government will go after anyone that criticizes their corrupt actions because they are not open to freedom of speech.

KKD dared the producers and the Director General of GTV to deny his allegation if whatever he is saying is just a fabrication.
