Lydia Forson, a Ghanaian actress has reacted to a statement made by one of her followers on Twitter concerning her age and childlessness.

The message sent by this anonymous fan noted “Lady Lydia, I am a huge fan of you. In fact I love you. Please I’m not in your DM to stress you. You are a woman of substance and I love you.’’

According to the person, considering the age of Lydia Forson, she must at least give birth to a child who will carry on her legacy. the person appealed to Lydia to give the world at least one child. 

Enraged by this message, in a post shared by Lydia on her Twitter timeline sighted by 1Family Radio, the 38-year-old actress has warned Ghanaians to stop policing the womb of women.

In her post she noted, “I’m only sharing this here so people who send/say this daily understand that this is not love.’’

She indicated “Love will have the emotional intelligence to know that babies are NOT bought on Amazon; nor do they guarantee your legacy lives on. 

“Stop policing women’s wombs,’’ she concluded.
