Akua Donkor, a Ghanaian politician and founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) has disclosed that she wants a man by her side as the first gentleman if she becomes the president of Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Kofi TV monitored by 1Family Radio, the presidential candidate for GFP indicated that since her husband died two years ago, she hasn’t gotten married again but she will need a man by her side as the first gentleman of the country should she win the 2024 general elections.
“Every male president has a first lady so I will need a man as the first gentleman when I become the president of Ghana,” she noted.
According to her, she has to marry again because the presence of her husband will be needed in her political career. “I just need a man to put his name on me as his wife so that he would play ceremonial duties as the first gentleman.
However, after they get married, she will not perform the household chores as a wife. She will not cook, wash, or clean for the man, all she needs is the man’s name.
