Rev. Anthony Kwadwo Boakye, the founder and head pastor of the Resurrection Power New Generation Church (RPNGC) has been confirmed dead on the February 21,2023.
According to a statement release by his lawyer, it was indicated that the man of God died on Tuesday evening at the Korlebu Teaching Hospital.
The renowned man of God was struck down by stroke in the October, 2021. It was noted that his condition improved after three months after seeking for medical care at some private hospitals.
However, on the 31st of January 2023, he was rushed to the hospital after complaining of sharp pain in his left leg. It was diagnosed that the there was a problem with his blood circulation and he must undergo a surgery oversees. Preparations were ongoing when he fell sick again and was taken to the Cardiothoracic Centre at the Korlebu-Bu Teaching Hospital but unfortunately, he couldn’t survive and gave up the ghost around 2:00 am on Tuesday 21st February, 2023.
The statement urged all his church members to keep him prayers for God to grant him a peaceful rest.
